Belle - wanting a respite from all of the talking, animated, utilitarian items - decided to find sanctuary in the library. This was the one place she had to herself, where she could read books and they wouldn't talk back, a place to sit and feel ... normal. This was all changed when Adventure and Horror decided this was their chance to make an appearance. At her wit's end, Belle lost it - much to the confusion of the books (and some people on DA :D). Although their first encounter was less than pleasant, they all became good friends - just like Disney would want you to believe.

This is just one of those things that popped into my head at 2 am. :roll:

For those of you youngins', the books are Adventure, Horror and Fantasy from the movie The Pagemaster. For those of you who remember this film, right on!

BTW, Adventure is supposed to be talking.

And then she freaked out more when the Whoopi Goldberg book started talking, because she has the same voice as Shenzi from "The Lion King." LOL

Belle and Jasmine? Um, Belle's singing and speaking voice were provided by Paige O'Hara. Jasmine's singing voice was provided by Lea Salonga. At least in the English versions, that is.
